Jiva Institute aims to make the wisdom contained in ancient Sanskrit texts accessible to everyone. Scholars at Jiva are working on the translations of various Sanskrit works in philosophy, grammar, theology, literature, music, drama, and poetry. Jiva Institute is an independent publishing house for Vedic works and topics that connect science and spirituality, eastern and western cultures, and traditional and contemporary thought. Jiva  also translates Sanskrit books upon request.

Dr. Satyanarayana Dasa has dedicated himself to translating and commenting on the Sat Sandarbhas,  which is the magnum opus of Jiva Gosvami, the medieval Vaishnava saint of Vrindavan from whom the Jiva Institute derives its name. These books give a systematic explanation of the theology and philosophy of the Gaudiya Vedanta School. Sat Sandarbha has never before been translated into English in its entirety. Satyanarayana Das Babaji has completed the translation and commentary of the Six Sandarbhas into English, which will be published over the next two years.

The real message Krishna wanted to give was of pure love. Love without any bargain or motive. Just love for the sake of love. Ultimately, we are seeking God because we are all looking for pure love. Nobody wants conditional love. But love is a very scary thing because you have to make yourself completely open. But, because of your attachments you cannot experience pure love.
